Annual chat-a-thon
January 18- January 20!
2 days and 2 nights 4 FORCE!
Our seventh annual chat-a-thon will take place in the FORCE chat room beginning tonight, January 18 (right before midnight Eastern Time) and will continue around the clock through Sunday, January 20th at midnight.
What is a chat-a-thon?
FORCE coined the term "chat-a-thon" seven years ago to describe a virtual, internet-based event similar to a cyber awareness walk, or race. Because our members are scattered throughout the world, our chat-a-thon is a way for old and new members to connect and share experiences, and particpate in an awareness-raising event to support FORCE from the comfort of their homes.
What happens during the chat-a-thon?
During our Annual Chat-A-Thon, we:
- Reconnect with our FORCE friends and welcome new visitors to the site;
- Raise money to continue FORCE’s important work;
- Showcase FORCE’s website and our programs;
- Raise awareness about hereditary breast and ovarian cancer
How can I participate?
Everyone is welcome. This is a fun way to meet people, help raise awareness of hereditary cancer, and help us raise the money we need to continue to serve the high-risk community.
